It's a great drawing technically. The crit I'm gonna give though is that in body language it doesn't look like Nightcrawler. In all my years reading X-Men I don't remember him as posing completely back straight like a human when he was in his demon like form. Even when he has his holo projector watch he doesn't look as confident as he does here. Each superhero has his own mannerisms, and you've got to take that into account when drawing them.

One Boy's Dream, One Man's Destiny: I want to be the man who can draw so many things, so well and in so many different ways.
Though I do understand where you're coming from, I do vividly recall issues of Excalibur where he is the dashing swashbuckler and even led the team, not the typical meek Nightcrawler we're used to. So, on that score, I must heartily disagree.
Also, had this been an assignment from Marvel to draw the character for them, I'd take into account the story and his portrayal. This is just for fun and it is presumptuous to assume that I'm trying to render him in any specific fashion. In other words, I can draw him however I want.
I'm not arguing with how you draw him. I quite like it. I love how Jim Lee drew Cyclops, but everyone complained his bulky look didn't match his nickname "slim." So i thought I'd just throw it in in case it'd slipped your mind.

I like it. I also remember those issues of excaliber. But who cares.
I'm gonna enjoy it for what it is. Art.
